Executive coaching is effective because it is both transformation-oriented and results-oriented. For coaching to be fully effective, you as the client need to be open to feedback and willing to create positive change. In addition, executive coaching is truly personal development versus “mass education” for employee groups. You can focus directly on issues and topics that you control and that are significant for you at that moment, rather than topics that are preprogrammed in a participant manual for a training course. Also, you can work with the executive coach to schedule meeting times that are convenient for your calendar, rather than having to work around the schedule of programmed training courses.
