What could an executive coach do for me?

If you are a senior executive or manager, an executive coach could help you leverage your strengths and become more effective in your job and at work. The goal of the executive coach is to help you gain new awareness and insights and then perhaps make behavioral changes that correspond with your values and goals. As an executive or manager, you may sometimes find it difficult to get straightforward and accurate feedback from those individuals around you. The executive coach can facilitate this effort by serving as:

  • an objective and confidential sounding board,
  • a brainstorming partner,
  • a reality checker,
  • a devil’s advocate,
  • an accountability enforcer,
  • a cheerleader, and
  • a devoted champion.
