Jeff Spinella, Director of Communications
Jeff Spinella serves as the Director of Communications for the Senior Executives Association. As Director of Communications, Spinella is responsible for the Association's communications, website, and the monthly production and coordination of the ACTION newsletter. He also oversees the design, editing, and printing of SEA publications, serves as a manager for Association events, is the in-house IT and Operations Manager, and facilitates media outreach and relations.
A native of Montgomery County, Maryland, Spinella graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a BA in Government and Politics. During college, Spinella participated in Semester at Sea, a unique Study Abroad program sponsored by the University of Virginia. The program afforded an opportunity to learn about, witness, and analyze in-depth globalization issues first hand, as it entailed classes on a ship that docked in 12 different countries while circumnavigating the globe. After returning to the US, Spinella continued his studies while working at a law firm in Washington, DC.
Following graduation, Spinella continued to work at the same firm, with his position taking on greater time and responsibility. In his spare time, he pursues his personal interests, which include physical fitness, producing and composing music, and serving as a foster for rescue dogs through City Dogs Rescue in Washington, DC.
