Distinguished Executives Advisory Network (DEAN's List)

My Distinguished Rank Award in 1997 exposed me to the amazing achievements of our year’s class; my only regret was that there was no opportunity to meet up later, and share stories with each other. From the brief descriptions of their contributions at our State Department dinner, I knew I was with many potential colleagues and friends.

SEA has developed a survey intended for our list of rank award winners. We want to identify people by the skills and experience that they are willing to share with others now engaged in solving America’s problems. Some of us are retired, and some now live far away from Washington. With today’s technology, the barriers to our contributing to excellence in public service are falling fast. We can also mentor other senior leaders, and we’ll find ways to socialize, too.

I hope you will consider signing up. America needs us!

ABOUT THE DISTINGUISHED EXECUTIVES ADVISORY NETWORK

The Distinguished Executives Advisory Network (DEAN) was established by SEA's Professional Development League in 2015 to make the experience and expertise of individuals who have been recognized for their excellence through receipt of the Presidential Rank of Distinguished Executive or Distinguished Senior Professional, available for the advancement of government effectiveness, efficiency and improvement. This cadre of individuals is referred to as the "Dean's List."

These executives' extraordinary achievement and documented leadership accomplishments make them uniquely qualified to provide objective, impartial and sound advice on the most pressing government problems. The network was established to utilize their views and advice, as well as enable them to connect with each other.

Organizations and individuals, whether in government or academia, who wish to secure the assistance of the Network may do so by requesting, for example, a roundtable or focus group with DEAN's List members or that a survey be distributed to them.
