Union Hit List: SEA Seeks Congressional Investigation

On August 18, SEA President Carol Bonosaro and Federal Managers Association President Patricia Neihaus sent an urgent message to the House and Senate VA and Government Oversight Committees, requesting an investigation into the largest federal union’s use of official time to create a “hit list” of managers and executives.

According to The Washington Post, a chapter of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE, AFL-CIO) spent several months on an “internal review” of management that they gave to Secretary Robert McDonald with the hope that he would fire those listed.

SEA and FMA are seeking a Congressional investigation into the questionable process by which this list was compiled.
