October 16-20, 2017

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine invite you to attend their upcoming symposium and webcast on data-driven decision making that will take place on September 14, 2017 at the Keck Center in Washington, DC. The event will highlight simple principles that can support data-driven decision making and help decision makers learn the right questions to ask when presented with new analyses.

SES Onboarding Forum - Leading Strategic Change and Transformation

The SES Onboarding Forums are a series of four dynamic, interactive programs designed to help new career SES succeed in their enterprise leadership roles by equipping them with proven strategies and tools from the public and private sectors, and connecting them with a network of executive peers from across government.

In OPM’s ongoing support of Senior Federal Executive On-Boarding & Continuing Executive Development:
OPM has reserved a limited number of seats in two upcoming Federal Executive Institute SES Leading EDGE government-wide Senior Executive development programs available at no cost to the agencies.  If you are interested in taking advantage of these seats, please follow the special registration instructions below.

TO REGISTER FOR THE  “NO COST” SEATS: 

You must follow the special registration instructions below to secure any of the twenty (20) Forum no-cost seats and to support OPM in efficiently tracking agency participation. For additional assistance planning and implementing your executive onboarding or continuing development program, please contact Cheryl.Abram@opm.gov and/or visit OPM’s Executive Onboarding Wiki page

AGENCIES CAN BEGIN REGISTRATION FOR EXECUTIVES BY FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • FIRST, Submit his/her name/s to SESDevelopment@opm.gov with “SES Forum” or “SES Lab” in the subject line (only submit for registration those executives whose Executive Development Plans (EDPs) indicate the need for this content)
  • Then, wait to receive a confirmation of those who will participate.
  • Finally, selected Executives will receive a link from SES-Leading-EDGE@opm.gov with instructions to complete the registration.

SES Enterprise Leadership Lab - Using Strategic Foresight to Influence Strategic Decision Making

The SES Enterprise Leadership Labs support government-wide networking and continuous development among Federal Senior Executives.  Each Lab is an immersive, interactive, one-day program to generate new perspectives and approaches to a 21st century strategic “hot topic” in dialogue with Federal Senior Executive colleagues and subject matter experts.

About the Senior Executives Association

The Senior Executives Association is a nonprofit professional association that promotes ethical and dynamic public service by fostering an outstanding career executive corps, advocates the interests of career federal executives (both active and retired), and provides information and services to SEA members.

SEA is a founding member of the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund, the Public Employees Roundtable, and the Government Managers Coalition, and holds a seat on the National Council on Federal Labor Management Relations and the Employee Thrift Advisory Council.
