Yet most companies report they lack the leaders they need. Deloitte’s 2016 Human Capital Trends study revealed that nearly 30 percent of organizations have weak or very weak leadership pipelines, and nearly 90 percent of organizations see this as a critical business challenge. The lack of adequate leaders jeopardizes companies’ ability to thrive in fast-changing markets.
